Calm over alarm
We tell you what happened and what we did about it. We don't sell fear, we don't use red banners, and we don't shout.
About WindBreak
We started WindBreak because smaller businesses were being offered two things: a shelf of tools nobody watched, or a wall of jargon nobody understood. There is a calmer way.
Why we exist
Attacks on small businesses aren't dramatic. They're a phishing email on a Tuesday, a stolen password on a Friday, a backup that was never tested. The damage comes from nobody noticing.
WindBreak is the layer between that constant pressure and your business. Our name comes from our mark: a W that runs into a bar. The wind keeps blowing. It just doesn't get through.
How we work
We tell you what happened and what we did about it. We don't sell fear, we don't use red banners, and we don't shout.
Every alert, report and conversation starts with the result. The detail is there if you want it, and never required to understand what matters.
Software does the watching. People do the judging. When something matters, you talk to someone who knows your account, not a ticket queue.
We show our work: coverage numbers, restore tests and response times, in your dashboard, every day. If we're not delivering, you'll see it before we say it.
The alternatives
Buy antivirus, turn on MFA, hope the backups work. Every tool sends alerts to an inbox nobody checks, and the first time you find out something went wrong is when it's already over.
Built for enterprises with their own security staff. You get a ticket number, a portal with 40 dashboards and a quarterly PDF that reads like a legal document.
The tools and the people, sized for a business like yours. One dashboard, one monthly price, one number to call, and every alert written for a human.
Working with us
You'll know exactly what's happening at every step, and you'll have a name and a direct line from day one.
A 45-minute kickoff, agents rolled out, email and identity connected, old antivirus removed. You get a coverage report the same day.
We learn what normal looks like for your business so alerts stay rare and relevant. First monthly summary lands at the end of the month.
Your security lead walks you through what we stopped, what we fixed and what we recommend next. Thirty minutes, plain language, no slides you'll never read.
Careers
If you're good at security and better at explaining it, we'd like to hear from you. Remote-friendly, calm on-call, no heroics.
